Content Library

The App Exchange enables an organization to provide a curated list of centrally managed templates for app builders to create apps from. When enabled, view Apps in the App Exchange across all Workspaces from within the Create App Modal.

Managing App Exchange content is available on Enterprise plans with the Workspaces feature flag enabled.

View and create Apps from the App Exchange

  1. View and create apps from your organization’s App Exchange in any Workspace
  2. Click Create App → Click App Exchange tab → View apps → Select one → Create
  3. Option to view more information: App Name, App Description, Origin location, User who added last update, Description of last update, User who last published

Add apps to & remove apps from the App Exchange.

Specify the Workspace which will have ability to add to the App Exchange

  • Navigate to Account Settings → App Exchange → Select App Exchange Workspace
  • Ability to add/remove apps from the App Exchange will be only available in this Workspace.
  • Leverages existing Workspace access security benefits.

Within an app’s 3-dot menu, see option “Add to App Exchange”

  • Set app’s name & description that will show within the App Exchange apps list.
  • Only available if there is a published version
  • View icon on app after adding marking it an “App Exchange App”
  • In app’s 3-dot menu, see option to “Remove from App Exchange”

Update content in the App Exchange

  • Option to “Update App Exchange” with the latest published version.
  • Set description of changes.
  • The updated app’s content will now be available for any new apps created from the App Exchange.
  • View icon on app version referencing which app version is currently in the App Exchange
