NanoPi specific : 07 - LAN Ethernet connection (10.0.5.1)
OBJECTIVE
Verify the followings:
Make sure you do Not have Proxy set up. Otherwise you cannot reach 10.0.5.1.
- Ensure the LAN Ethernet port (eth1) of the Edge IO or Edge MC is functional
- Ensure upstream traffic is possible for the Edge IO or Edge MC
- Ensure 10.0.5.1 IP loads Device Portal in a web browser
- Ensure 10.0.5.1/macs page displays correct serial info
Make sure you do Not have Proxy set up. Otherwise you cannot reach 10.0.5.1.
PRECONDITION
- You have a Mac and a Windows computer
- You have a running Edge device (Edge IO or Edge MC) registered to a Factory Instance (qa.tulip.co)
- You have an Ethernet cable
- For Mac, you have an extender device with an Ethernet port that allows you to connect the cable to the Mac (Macs usually don't have an Ethernet port)
- You have access to SSH into the Edge device
- You have access to Device Portal of the Edge device
