The factory-reset resets the device to the original factory state.  It is important to verify this works because, in the worst cases, this is how a customer can reset their Edge Device and re-authenticate the device.

This test performs a software factory reset in the Device Portal

critical criteria of test (CCT)

• The LED heartbeat stops
• An authorized gateway is no longer authorized after a factory reset
• The UUID is retained
• The serial number are retained
• User-modified driver configs are restored to defaults

This tests expects the following to be true

1. The Edge Device is authorized
   1. You have a custom driver configuration
