Display Device


Display Device, depending on context, refers to the physical computer, tablet, phone, or machine being used to run the [Tulip Player](/overview/S_PLAYER/). When referring to bar code scanners or other devices that can be used as [Triggers](/models/M_TRIG) in [Apps](/models/M_APP/), see [Player Device Mapping](/models/M_PLAYER_DEVICE_MAP)

| Identifier    | A unique identifier to enable bulk deployment by IT organizations. This can be autogenerated by Tulip or manually set by the user.                   |
| Name          | A non-unique identifier, editable by the user.                                                                                                       |
| Station       | Assigned Station for the display device.                                                                                                             |
| Station Group | Group to which a Station is a member. Managed on Shop Floor.                                                                                         |
| Registration  | The method used for registration. Display Devices can be registered via link or manually at the Station.                                             |
| Software      | The software running the Tulip Player (e.g. _Browser_, _Windows Player_). The version of the Player will be shownIf running the native Tulip Player. |
| Status        | The status of the Player (_Online_, _Offline_, _Pending_) and the duration it has been in that status.                                               |
